Mike Blumenthal
Mike Blumenthal is a co-founder of Near Media and helps oversee research and the local marketing analysis. Mike has long been regarded as the foremost expert on local search and Google Local search, earning the nickname “Professor Maps”. Mike previously co-founded and successfully sold Local University, which provides sustainable local search marketing training as well as the CX/review platform, GatherUp. His motto: All Local All the Time. He writes at Near Media and does two weekly podcasts about Local marketing at both Near Media and LocalU.
